We’re officially kicking off the Pie blog, with the goal of keeping you updated on the latest product updates and announcements from Pie. 

What is Pie?

The People's Internet Experiment, better known as Pie, is exactly that: an experiment to see what can happen if we put people in control of their internet experiences.

Our first product, Pie Adblock, is an initial step towards putting people in the driver’s seat of their own browsing experience, while providing them with tools to support creators and publishers.

With over a million users, we are growing quickly and learning as we go. We aren’t looking to be just another ad blocker, we’re here to build a sustainable ecosystem that isn’t reliant on exploiting people for their personal data or drowning them in ads - while also supporting creators and publishers in a world where nearly a billion now use ad blockers.

Achieving this will be a balancing act, no question, but we don’t believe it needs to be an either-or. The only way to get there is to continue being transparent about our plans, listen to feedback, and evolve together. Read our open letter, here.
